Ray McCullam Highlights soundtrack by Dot

I cant front the boy Ray Mac of Detroit Country Day got a whole lot of game, i see why he is in the running for Mr. Basketball along side Keith Appling, Maurice Jones, Devin Oliver and his AAU teammate and roll buddy Trey Ziegler. The match up agaisnt Appling and Detroit Pershing in the Michigan Mr. Basketball Showdown was exactly that, a showdown. Appling played hard nosed defense one on one on most possessions agaisnt McCullam even though Country Day came out with win. Personally i think it was because Country Day coach doubled Appling most of the game and had many defensive schemes to slow him down but you gotta do what you gotta do when going agaisnt the defending State Champs. Ray Mac definitely did his thing, especially when he went for 10 straight slowing down a Pershing come back in the 3rd quarter to keep his team with the lead and eventually pulled off the win. The three moves that proved that solidified his game to me was a smooth crossover on Appling ended with a tomahawk layup, a up and under in the lane on multiple defenders and a step back 3- pointer . . McCullam's father Ray McCullam Sr. is a former Ball State University standout and 1993 Hall of Fame inductee. He is currently the coach of UofD(Detroit Titans) and is more than likely the reason why Ray Mac Jr plays so poised and composed on the floor.
